Wow! Where to start? Some people are always very very busy, and our special guest is one of them! The prolific Director of dozens of popular and successful animations, Takuya Sato is attending Overload 2017.
Employed on top shows such as Kino’s Journey and the WIXOSS series, he has a wide range of work under his belt, from mecha like Mobile suit gundam 0083, to comedy such as Robanimal Panda-Z and wrangling the inevitable ninjas and samurai in Ninja Scroll. Having worked on such classics as ‘NieA under 7’ and ‘Street Fighter II Victory’, through to ‘Lord Marksman and Vanadis’, and ‘Steins; Gate’, Takuya Sato has been continuously involved in the Japanese Anime industry for over 20 years. To our good fortune he brings the youthful perspective and wide ranging talent that have made him moving force in the Anime world.
His most recent work is the beautiful yuri animation clip “Kiminohikari · Asagao and Kase”. Perhaps we can find out from Mr Sato whether there are any plans for an anime in future?
