Be part of New Zealand's premier Anime and Manga event
Overload is a two-day convention that attracts 8,000 anime and manga fans from all over New Zealand, along with approximately 450 New Zealand and international artists who sell anime and manga-themed creations.
Registering for an exhibitor stand is the best way to engage with the New Zealand anime and manga community. Overload welcomes businesses, schools, artists, and organisations that wish to interactively present their products and services. Exhibitor stands are arranged around the venue in areas with good foot traffic along with wider aisle space, providing easy access for attendees and ample frontage for exhibitor’s advertising and product placement.
A single exhibitor stand includes a 3m x 3m space, two 1.8m tables, three chairs, and three weekend entry passes. This space is yours to set up however you please. Wall panels along with power are available at an additional cost in various arrangements that can fit any of your needs.

Please note that at Overload we have a strong anti-piracy policy regarding commercial goods, this is something we and our fans pride ourselves on and we have been upholding this standard since our humble beginnings in 2006.

Exhibitor Stands are our premium spaces, providing a high-impact presence for your business. Each standard Exhibitor Stand includes a 3m x 3m space allocation, with larger configurations available upon request. Please note that these are open-plan spaces and do not include partition walls; however, walls can be provided at an additional cost.
Yes. They are not only for businesses! If you are an artist wishing to support Overload in a different capacity along with the benefits of an Exhibitor Stand, like more space, you are welcome to apply for one via the Exhibitor Stand application form.
No, you do not have to provide any sort of formal portfolio but we may ask for more information to ensure you meet our sale item restrictions along with being appropriate for Overload.
We encourage the sale of items related to anime, manga and pop-culture however we are always happy to see other creative items that still resonate with the Overload community. Pirated or unlicensed goods are strictly prohibited for sale or display. We pride ourselves on authenticity. For more information please see our terms and conditions.
The NZICC does have a service elevator from the carpark that will aid on the day of set up. We will have more information on this for exhibitors at a later date.
Yes, the NZICC offers 1,327 undercover parking spaces. Additionally, it is connected to the SkyCity car parks, which provide approximately 3,200 more spaces. We will provide the daily parking rates for exhibitors as soon as more information becomes available.
Exhibitor stands do have the option for electricity. This needs to be requested on application as no additional electrical set up will be able to be done during the event.
If, for any reason, you are unable to attend Overload and we are unable to replace your Exhibitor Stand we are unable to offer any refund as per our terms and conditions.
