Overload 2020  Postponement Announcement

Hi everyone,

We hope you’re all healthy and coping as well as you can during this time. The Overload Committee has been closely assessing the COVID-19 outbreak situation and sadly we have chosen to postpone the Overload 15th Anniversary event.

We apologise if this causes any inconvenience for you. We hope you understand that we have had to make this decision for everyone’s safety. The situation surrounding COVID-19 will continue to be an issue and it is unlikely that restrictions on mass gatherings and strict border controls will be lifted soon. With the restrictions on international travel we have also had to make the difficult choice to postpone the attendance of our three confirmed International Guests. We believe that in these circumstances it is safer for everyone to not hold Overload this year.

The proposed new date for the Overload 15th Anniversary is Saturday 24th April 2021 at The Cloud Convention Centre. By then we hope to have a safe ‘new normal’ around which we can build a brilliant Overload 15th Anniversary.

We have made this decision as early as possible to give everyone some clarity around what is happening.

ARTISTS

We recognise that this date change may not be suitable for all artists. We are offering full refunds up to May 31st for artists who wish to cancel their registrations. To cancel your registration, please send us an email from the same email you used to register for Overload.

This email must contain:

  • Your Name (This should be the same name provided to us in your Registration)
  • Your Table Options (i.e. state how many Overload Artist Tables and/or Overload Artist Tables with Electricity you have been allocated)
  • Your Bank Account Details (Account holder name & Bank account number) for refund

We will give one week’s grace period in case you wish to ‘un-cancel’ your registration. If we do not hear from you within that time we will take that as a confirmation of cancellation and will refund your registration.

We will only be accepting refund requests up until May 31st, 11:59 PM (NZST). We will not refund registration fees for cancellations made after this date.

If you have had your registration refunded and wish to re-register we will hold new registrations at a later date. You will not be able to reinstate your previous registration if you have cancelled – you must register again.

For artists that wish to keep their registrations until the Overload 15th Anniversary (24th April 2021) you don’t need to do anything. You will retain your registrations, your table options, and your table location priority.

Again we sincerely apologise if the decision to postpone the Overload 15th Anniversary has caused any inconvenience. We hope you understand that we have had to make this decision for the safety of everyone, including you.
